Sean Duffy got into Clinton’s face, telling her to “sit this one out” (S-T-F-U) after she tried to ridicule him for his plans to bring in DOGE to upgrade air traffic control systems. “Most of them aren’t old enough to rent a car,” she said. “And you’re going to let them mess with airline safety that’s already deteriorated on your watch?”
Say what? He’s been in charge all of a couple of weeks while Mayor Pete oversaw 4 years of deterioration. That’s about as dumb as AOC saying that Musk is “one of the most unintelligent billionaires I’ve ever met or seen or witnessed”. I’m not knocking Queens bartenders, but I don’t think any have ever sent a rocket into space.
Duffy responded, “Madam Secretary, with all due respect, ‘experienced’ Washington bureaucrats are the reason our nation’s infrastructure is crumbling. You need to sit this one out.”
Hillary didn’t take the hint, responding, “Hope your unvetted 22-year-olds fix things fast.”
Then Sean took off the gloves with, “I know you’re lashing out because DOGE is uncovering your family’s obscene grifting via USAID, but I won’t let you lie and distort facts, the FAA administrator announced he resigned over a month before Trump took office, and the air traffic controllers were always exempt from Trump’s civil service buyouts. I’m returning this department to its mission of safety by using innovative technology in transportation and infrastructure. Your team had its chance and failed.”
Clinton apparently crawled back under her rock.
