Bone headed Rev. Mariann Budde marred what has historically been a healing interfaith service and turned her pulpit into a lecture on what was important to her, illegal migrants and transgender children, then promptly went on The View to seal the deal that she, and her co-hosts, shared a vision of what America needs to focus on. Maybe we should focus on the 300 million plus people that do not fall into those categories, and have their own struggles and concerns.
Please note that the Right Reverend’s entire life is covered, home, food, clothing, transportation, etc., by her church, and the ladies that over-lunch, are obscenely overpaid for their very limited “view” from their ivory towers.
The Inaugural Prayer is supposed to be about blessing the incoming administration and praying for God’s guidance and protection for the nation, not about enforcing false divides and making the ceremony all about her.
