Remember I said that, based on the fact the newspapers and unions decided not to endorse Kamala, maybe voters would stay home for the same reasons, they couldn’t bring themselves to support someone so obviously unelectable? Well, here are some numbers. Kamal had 71.24 million votes (48%), Donald had 74.83 million (50.4%). In rough numbers we have 161million registered voters in 2024 per the census, only 146 million of them voted, where were the other 15 million? If the country is divided down the middle, that means 7.5 million Democrats did not vote. The third party candidates really didn’t drain much from either side. But I dare to bet that Trump supporters would not miss the chance to vote, Kamala lost because Democratic voters came to a conscious, and conscience, decision that, while hating Trump, they also could not vote for Kamala. I saw a funny meme the other day, the pronouns Kamala now identifies with are, “has” and “been”, bye bye.
